When was the last time you had some really delicious tea? If you are a tea connoisseur, you know that a box of Lipton's Tea is just not going to do it for you. Many of us do get Lipton's or other brand we see at the store that may be on sale when we get the notion to sip some tea. I invite you to try some delicious gourmet tea from Tea For All Reasons, LLC http://www.etsy.com/shop/teaforallreasons . You are going to love this shop! 191 items and counting!
Meet Marsha Richards...creator, business owner www.teaforallreasons.com , tea connoisseur, wife, mother of two grown daughters and grandmother of four. She has been in the tea business for 14 years! She grew up an "Army brat" and became a Navy wife. Because of that, she was able to visit many countries in the world. One of the most influential on her shop was England, where her and her family lived for 2 1/2 years. AHHHH I knew England would come into the equation!! :) Marsha says, " My love of tea was born there and continued to be an interest through the years. One day it dawned on me that there seemed to be a demand for instruction in some of the basics of Tea; selecting good tea, brewing, the etiquette, Tea ritual hospitality, preparing menus and food to serve. I launched Tea For All Reasons, LLC as a consulting business at first, conducting workshops to equip women on The Pleasures of Tea, as well as to speak to large groups. Eventually we moved away from the workshops in order to focus on retail sales." I was thinking it would be a great idea to have your girlfriends over for a Tea Party for the holidays. Get about 4-5 yummy teas from Tea For All Reasons, some of Marsha's scone mix, and some pretty vintage dishes. Maybe give each girl a different vintage cup. Doesn't that sound divine! When Marsha speaks of rituals of tea, I can see that!
Her inspirations for her teas come from the "many Reasons there are to enjoy tea; a special occasion, a holiday, to honor someone, or sometimes just by special requests that come my way. One example is our new Pumpkin Spice Chai Specialty Black which was a request from a customer and has turned out to be a huge seller this fall."Oh...sounds yummy...I may have to get some of that! Sounds perfect for holiday entertaining. Now I must say, I have never seen such BEAUTIFUL teas!! I can not imagine the yummy taste and smell they must have. Talk about a great gift for Christmas!
www.teaforallreasons.com, we just recently started to carry Pyramid Tea Bags packaged in our lovely tins. Most are organic which is to meet the demand we've had from our customers." Another new shop is on the horizon as well....Vintage For All Reasons. Stay on the look out for that.
Marsha and I are members of the Etsy CAST Team (Christian Artists Street Teamhttp://www.etsy.com/teams/6326/christian-artists-street-team-cast). If you are on Etsy and not in a team, I encourage you to join one. You can get lots of support, meet friends, throw around ideas, and get ideas. There are no limits on how many teams you can join. When I asked her about the CAST Team she said, "Truly, I love being a part of this "faith" team. So many are customers but, as for me, I am so busy I don't get to shop much" She says she loves having an Etsy shop because "it has expanded my business but also I love how it affords me the opportunity to communicate with all my customers on a personal level and even become friends. It is truly a community." Agreed!
I asked Marsha what her favorite tea was, " It is hard to narrow down from over 100 flavors which is my favorite tea flavor, but my favorite Fall Flavor is "Auntie's Pumpkin Pie" Specialty Black. The name itself just makes you smile, but, taken together, the appearance, scent and taste combine to make it perfection in my opinion! And it is our best seller of all our Fall teas."
